Between 1999 and 2003, I freelanced on the film desk of London’s best listings magazine – Time Out – and had the opportunity of previewing some great (and a fair few ‘not-so-great’) films. My reviews are all included in the Time Out Film Guide.

I also love checking out film locations, so here are a few of places I’ve visited where I’ve looked at their ‘roles’ in film: Venice, Rome, Tunisia, Rimini.

Click here for other features, and here for books I’ve worked on.
