As a keen gardener, I have a growing interest in food – what we eat, how we grow it – and on a macro level, how our food habits are changing the world. I regularly review restaurants, cafés, pubs and bars, as well as writing on issues as diverse as tea drinking in China, to sustainability in fishing or the curious life cycle of the eel.

I’m about to embark on a course at Capel Manor in Horticulture and Landscaping.

For more information on the gardening community I’m involved with, see the excellent Cordwainers Garden blog, written by my co-gardener/neighbour.
